Carpet Binding
Carpet Binding is a thin strip of tape which covers the edge of your area rug. We offer over 200 colors to perfectly match the color of your area rug.
Cotton Binding is a thin strip of tape which covers the edge of your area rug. We offer a limited amount of colors and many must be specifically ordered in; so please give plenty of time for your order to be processed.
Carpet Serging
Carpet Serging is a nylon yarn that is wrapped around the edge of your area rug. It is often seen on oriental rugs and other high end area rugs. We offer over 100 colors to choose from to match perfectly with your area rug.
We also offer wool serging in limited colors.
Carpet Base
Carpet Base is a small piece of carpet that is bound and attached to your wall as wall base. These are very common in commercial applications; however, it can look great in a finished basement as well.
We offer great prices on all of our carpet base. At CarpetWorks, we frequently use 1 1/4 inch binding on our carpet base. This adds to a beautiful clean look on your carpet base.
Border Rugs
Simply adding a border to your piece of carpet can make your area rug absolutely stunning. Our fabrication methods make sure your border rug will last much longer than our competitors. This is because instead of regular carpet seam tape; at Carpetworks we use a special blend of glue to ensure your border rug will last a lifetime.

It is possible to put borders on many different shapes. At CarpetWorks, we can create circle borders, octagon borders, and even triangle borders for our customers.
Wilton rugs have always been difficult because the unique borders would often not match up. However, at CarpetWorks we painstakingly take the time to design and implement a Wilton area rug w/ all four matching corners.

Custom Area Rugs
At CarpetWorks, we can make almost any image into a custom area rug.
This piece was custom made for a customer to be inlaid in the entrance of the living room. The feathers are each carved to give the carpet a layered look. The entire rug was custom made to resemble the tropics.

Faux leather has all the beautiful characteristics of real leather but at a fraction of the cost. Area rugs can look beautiful and tasteful at a great price; with the addition of faux leather borders.
